Ethiopian Potash Announces More Positive Drills in Ethiopia

The Ethiopian Potash Corporation announced more positive drilling results from its Danakil Project, Ethiopia.

Ethiopian Potash drilled more than 6,500 meters in 26 holes with the holes located in the southwestern corner of its concession and along the western edge of the basin over an area measuring 10 by 4 kilometers.

Assays continue to show that the shallowest and highest grade holes in the basin are being drilled on the western side of the concession according to David Wahl, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Potash.

The stratigraphic holes that failed to intersect potash were the ones drilled to delineate the basin edge of mineralization he said.

The edge of the mineralization is clear now and allows the company to possess an exceptional guide to the continuity of the system enhancing its ability to predict with some precision where the sylvite layer will continue explained Wahl.

Ethiopian Potash expects to report on a significant number of additional assays over the coming month with ten holes left to finalize the program on this part of the concession Wahl said.

The company expects to release a in depth updated resource report encompassing all the work accomplished so far he concluded.
