Pamela Hueston Named Director of Ethiopian Potash

Pamela Hueston has been named as director of the Ethiopian Potash Corporation effective. The appointment of Hueston will be effective immediately.

Hueston is currently serving as the Director of Finance with Premier African Minerals Limited, a company working in mineral exploration and development in the West and Southern parts of Africa.

She also worked for Deloitte in a range of international positions as a Senior Manager in Forensic Accounting previously. Pamela graduated with an MBA from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant in Canada.

In related news the Ethiopian Potash Corporation announced completing the shares for debt transaction it had announced earlier last month following the approval of the Canadian Stock Exchange.

The company issued more than 2 million common shares at 0.15 US dollars per share to settle a portion if the debt it owed to a service provider.

EPC is a Canadian based company operating a concession in the Dankil Depression in Ethiopia. The company is developing 128 million tons in resources with 21% estimated to be potash.

The company currently own two drilling rigs to facilitate the drilling program it began on shallow targets in June of 2011.
