Kacha Digital Financial Services launches a private payment document issuer service.

This pioneering local platform offers mobile money, bill payments, remittances, and merchant payments, ensuring accessibility to financial services for all Ethiopians. Kacha has undergone testing with short codes, Android, and IOS applications prior to the official launch.

To further strengthen its operations, Kacha signed cooperation agreements with local banks, microfinance institutions, and strategic partners at the inaugural ceremony.

During the unveiling ceremony, Ms. Huria Ali, the Minister of State for Innovation and Technology, emphasized the inclusivity, innovation, and reliability of services like Kacha. Incorporating such services into the national financial systems aligns with the Digital Ethiopia 2025 strategy.
