Hibert Bank and ZamZam Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Hibert Bank’s Head Office to strengthen strategic partnership between the two banks.

The MoU signed between Hibret Bank and ZamZam bank aimed at providing support and capacity building training in matters related to banking technology. The agreement is part of Hibret Bank’s strategy 2030 goals which is to be at the forefront of strategic partnership as trusted partner with key players across the entire Eco System.

The MOU will also strengthen the relationship between the banks through capacitating and the provision of support to ZamZam Bank.

In addition to upgrading its flex cube core banking system Hibret Bank recently upgraded its mobile banking system entirely and fully in-house-all by its own IT team. Hibret Bank is also the forts and the only Bank in Ethiopia to receive ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its online banking services, data centre and the Disaster Recovery facilities.

The agreement reached between Hibret Bank and ZamZam bank shows Hibret Bank’s unreserved Commitment to providing support and sharing its vast knowledge and experience in areas of banking technology. The two banks further agreed to strengthen their relationship in other areas of collaboration.
