Ethiopia: OIC Paid 1.6 Million Birr as Compensation for Farmers
Oromia Insurance Company (OIC) disclosed it has made compensation payments worth 1.6 million Birr for farmers who lost their cattle as a result of El Nino phenomena which occurred last year across Ethiopia. The insurance company effected the payment to 1,470 farmers around Guji and Borena Zones in Oromia.
Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) disclosed in the first 6 months of the current fiscal year, it extended more than 40 billion Birr loan for different development projects.
Ethiopian Airlines Aviation Academy (EAA), ICAO TRAINAIR Plus member and IATA authorized global training center, has graduated 184 aviation professionals at a ceremony held at the Academy’s Commercial and Cabin Crew Training Building on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Among the total graduates, 145 are females.
