Ethiopia Gears Up for INVEST ETHIOPIA 2025 High-Level Business Forum

Business Forum

Preparations are in full swing for the INVEST ETHIOPIA 2025 High-Level Business Forum, set to take place on May 12-13, 2025, at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa. The event, jointly organized by government institutions, the private sector, and development partners, is expected to draw over 1,000 global participants, according to the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance.

State Minister of Finance Ms. Semereta Sewasew emphasized that the forum aims to foster a conducive investment climate by bringing together key stakeholders to explore opportunities and tackle pressing economic challenges. Discussions will focus on macroeconomic reforms, banking sector dynamics, and foreign exchange policies, all crucial to Ethiopia’s economic transformation.

A key highlight of the event will be the Public-Private Dialogue (PPD), designed to incorporate private sector insights into policy discussions. High-level meetings with board members, ministers, and selected investors will ensure direct engagement between stakeholders and decision-makers.

The forum will also showcase investment-ready projects, offering detailed insights into feasibility, regulatory approvals, and opportunities for foreign investors. Addressing investor concerns related to revenue, security, and government responsiveness remains a top priority, signaling Ethiopia’s commitment to improving its business environment.
