The Ethiopia-Korea Textile Techno Park, the country's first of its kind, was inaugurated yesterday, in the presence of Aklilu Tadesse, CEO of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC), and Kang Seokhee, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ethiopia.
Ambassador Kang Seokhee emphasized the multifaceted nature of the partnership, which encompasses a broad spectrum of collaborative efforts. Ethiopian Minister of State for Industry Hasen Tadesse, on his part, called for similar projects to further enhance Ethiopia's industrial landscape.
The Ethiopia-Korea Textile Techno Park is located in the Bole Lemi Industrial Park and will offer a range of services, including textile product certification and comprehensive training in garment design. These services are expected to play a pivotal role in developing and advancing Ethiopia's textile and manufacturing sectors.
