The Ethiopia-Korea Textile Techno Park, a joint venture between the governments of Ethiopia and South Korea, was inaugurated this morning. The park will provide a variety of services, including training and laboratory services in the textile and garment sector, as well as a center for innovation.
The Minister of State for Industry, Mr. Hasen Mohammed, spoke at the launch ceremony and highlighted the close relationship between the two countries. He also emphasized the importance of technology transfer, capacity building, and knowledge sharing in Ethiopia's industrialization process.
The park is expected to create jobs and boost the Ethiopian economy. It is also seen as a way to strengthen the partnership between the two countries in education, culture, and people-to-people relations.
