Antex EIC Agreement

Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) and Antex Textile PLC inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of affordable housing for the company's workforce in Adama Industrial Park.

This joint initiative aims to address the housing challenges faced by employees and enhance their productivity. The project is expected to accommodate approximately 5,000 employees, effectively resolving their housing needs.

Adama Industrial Park is situated on 120 hectares of land in Adama city which is 74 km from Addis Ababa. It was built by China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) and became operational in 2018 with 19 factory shades and specializes in machinery, apparel, and garment.
