The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) has launched a new service called "Golden Reception," which offers VIP reception to foreign direct investors coming to Ethiopia to conduct business in the industrial parks and Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone.
The service is designed to welcome investors and provide them with special entrance and transportation services from the airport to their hotel. It also includes accommodation and a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, as well as the attendance of government officials related to the investors' business.
The service has already been used by investors who have achieved high results in various sectors, including job creation, export production, and macroeconomic indicators. The president and owner of Shints Company, Cha Min Ho, and his spouse, Keum Shik, were among the investors who were welcomed with the Golden Reception service when they entered Ethiopia.
Shints Textile and Garment Company is based in South Korea and employs more than 5,000 workers at the Bole Lemi Industrial Park.
