Addis Ababa is hosting the 5th Agrofood and Plastprnitpack International Trade Fair. The four-day trade fair is being held at Millennium Hall and will close on June 11. Ambassadors, business sector leaders, and invited guests, including Minister of State for Industry Mr. Hasan Mohammed attended the opening ceremony.
Over 130 exhibitors from 14 countries are participating in the trade show, including Ethiopia, China, Germany, The Netherlands, India, Italy, Turkey, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Jordan, and Kenya. It is akso anticipated that the exhibition will attract more tham 3 thousand visitors.
The fair showcases the latest technologies and innovations in the agriculture, food processing, plastics, printing, and packaging industries. It also provides an opportunity for businesses to network and learn about new business opportunities.
Addis was also able to host 2021’s Agrofood fair which was dubbed a success since no less than 2,458 visitors showed interest in doing business with exhibitors from 9 countries, representing a wide spectrum of the entire value chain.
