The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration (MoTRI), Tigray Regional Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations, and Amnen Marketing and Promotion collaborated to organize a one-month trade bazaar which was set to take place in the cities of Mekelle, Wukro, Adigrat, and Maychew.

According to the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration, the event will be held starting from April 29, 2023, with the aim of boosting business activities in the Tigray region under the theme "Tigray's Business Activity for Regional Peace". Additionally, the trade bazaar seeks to alleviate product shortages and rebuild people-to-people relationships by providing essential goods to the community. Public companies and private investors are expected to participate in the trade bazaar and showcase their products and services.

Speaking about the event, the Deputy General Secretary of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Associations, Degala Ergeno, emphasized the crucial role the bazaar would play in promoting business activities in the region. He also highlighted that the trade bazaar would help to rebuild people-to-people relationships and facilitate the free movement of individuals.
