Ethiopian Investment Commission announced that the 2023 Ethio-Korea Investment Forum, which aimed to inform Korean investors about investment opportunities in Ethiopia, kicked off yesterday in Seoul, South Korea.

The forum has attracted 120 Korean investors and company officials. During the launching ceremony, the participants of the forum were briefed about the various investment opportunities in Ethiopia, incentive frameworks prepared for foreign investors, economic reform measures taken by the Government of Ethiopia, and the ongoing infrastructure development in the country.

A participant of the forum and the Vice Chairman of Korea Textile Industries Federation (KTIF) Dr. Joo Soryong stated that KTIF recognized the investment potentials in Ethiopia and was determined to benefit from the opportunities which were available in the country.
