Ethiopost announced that it would launch premium insurance services for customers who transport goods using the postal company’s logistics service. The company’s CEO Hana Arayaselassie also stated that Ethiopost was providing transit e-commerce services across various countries in Africa.

Ethiopost also provides other financial services including bulk payment services for organisations and businesses and cash collection for businesses.

The company was able to gain Birr 568 million in revenue during the first six months of the current fiscal year from letter and package deliveries, EMS, Logistics, and transport services. It has more than 700 branches nationwide.
