Ministry of Mines stated that it had finished preparations to launch Mintex Expo in Addis Ababa which will last for three days between November 10 and 12. The expo will be held to promote Ethiopia’s resources in the mining sector and will be open to investors, companies and other stakeholders. It will also host local and foreign companies who will be able to buy and sell minerals and produce better products.

The Government of Ethiopia has been working to promote resources in the mining sector in the global and local arena to augment production and substitute imputes.

Mintex, organized by Ethiopian Ministry of Mines, aims to become Africa’s larges and most prominent mining event. It has 20 sponsors and expects to bring 150 exhibitors, 90 thousand visitors, and 300 business delegates to the expo.
