Ethiopia participated in SCAJ World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition 2022 (SCAJ 2022) which took place in Tokyo, Japan. Ethiopian Coffee Association, Ethiopian Chamber of Sectoral Associations, and 40 Ethiopian coffee exporters represented Ethiopia in the event which hosted coffee growers, exporters, and importers from several countries.

The representatives from Ethiopia promoted Ethiopian specialty coffee to tens of thousands of coffee consumers who visited the expo. Ethiopian coffee exporters also held a business-to-business meeting on a one-on-one basis with Japanese importers of Ethiopian specialty coffee.

SCAJ 2022 was organized by Specialty Coffee Association of Japan under the theme “Come Join the Specialty Coffee Community” and held between October 12 and 14, 2022.
