Ethiopia: Addis Ababa Gains a Revenue of Birr 886 Million in Three Months

Addis Ababa City Administration reported that it gained Birr 886 million in revenue from municipal services. Nine organizations of the City Administration were able to collect the revenue during the past three months.

The largest revenue was collected from water and sewage related services totaling Birr 501.6 million. Abattoirs gained Birr 123.6 million while Kenema Public Pharmacies collected Birr 196.9 million. The remaining revenue of the City Administration came from the city’s Exhibition Center, Vital Events Registration and Information Services, and Addis Zoo Park which brought in Birr 57 million, Birr 5 million, and Birr 2.4 million, respectively for the city.
