An investment forum jointly organized by the Ethiopian Embassy in India, Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), and the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) is being held in Chennai, India.

At the forum, the Ethiopian investment authorities are holding discussions with members of the Indian business community engaged in the sectors of pharmaceuticals, textile, as well as agro-processing, IPDC announced.

97 Indian investors are taking part in the investment forum, and Tinsae Yimam, CEO of Bole-Lemi Industrial Park, as well as other members of IPDC, are present to provide necessary explanations for investors showing interest to work in Ethiopia, it has been learned.

EIC's team has also held discussions with Indian investors who showed keen interest in the Ethiopian investment opportunities. The team has "continued engaging potential investors", and visited pharmaceuticals manufacturing and agro-processing factories, EIC announced.
