Ethiopia’s annual inflation rate has lowered to 34.5 percent in January of 2022, from 35.1 percent in December which was Ethiopia's highest inflation rate since February 2012.
Consumer prices in Ethiopia, also, have shown a 1.2 percent increase, against a 1.4 rise the month before.
The high inflation rate in Ethiopia has been partly caused by the conflict in the northern part of the country.
