Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) announced its Diaspora Investment Forum and Exhibition will be launched tomorrow, January 11, 2022. The forum, expected to have 500 to 800 participants, is aimed at promoting "priority sectors" identified by the Ethiopian government.
On the opening day, presentations will be made by the ministry offices pertaining to investment opportunities of the identified priority sectors.
The priority sectors identified are health, mining, tourism, trade, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Following presentations from the ministries of Health, Mining, Tourism, Trade and Regional Integration, Agriculture, Industry, as well as the Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC), EIC has planned to hold panel discussions regarding investment opportunities on the sectors.
