WBM Avocado Oil, Ethiopia's second avocado oil processing factory located at Yirgalem Integrated Agro-Industrial Park has gone operational. The factory is built at a cost of 104 million birr.
Posed to export to the international market, WBM Avocado Oil is expected to create market link for some 40,000 avocado farmers.
Tradin Organic, also located in the Yirgalem Integrated Agro-Industrial Park, is the first in Ethiopia to begin avocado oil processing, and has been exporting its products since 2019.
