Takele Uma, Ethiopia's Minister of Mines, said his Ministry, along with the Ethiopian Investment Commission, have discussed with owners of cement factories on logistics issues.
In a tweet, Mr. Takele said a presentation has been made to the owners of cement factories regarding economic problems in the supply chain of cement. He also said a consensus has been reached on strong measures that need to be taken.
Swift and practical measures are already underway, the Minister noted, to address logistical issues the investors raised.
