Fertilizer Warehouses Made Ready at 98Mn Birr at Ethiopia's Modjo Port

modjo-warehouses-2021Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise announced that it has built and made ready two warehouses at Modjo Dry Port to store fertilizers for the 2022 harvest year. The warehouses have been built at a cost of 98 million birr using K-span building technology.

The enterprise related the two warehouses are each 1,600m2 wide, and can hold up to 10,000 metric tons of fertilizers. 

The warehouses will help reduce the cost for storage spent at Djibouti Port, in addition to availing the fertilizers for farmers with better ease, the enterprise further noted.
