Ethiopian-Owned NOC Djibouti Embarks on $1.3Mn Renovation Project

noc-djiboutiThe Ethiopian-owned NOC Djibouti announced it has entered an agreement with China Construction to renovate and modernize its service station at a cost of $1.3 million.

Yonis Ali Guedi, Djibouti's Minister of Energy and Natural Resource, Said Nouh, Djibouti's Minister of Interior, and Berhanu Tsegaye, Ethiopia's Ambassador to Djibouti, as well as several high-ranking officials, have attended the project launch.

Commending the Djiboutian Ministry of Energy and the Ethiopian Ambassador, for facilitating a conducive investment environment, the Manager of NOC Djibouti, Fassil Woldemariam, reiterated NOC Djibouti’s commitment to contribute alongside public and private partners to the economic and social development of Djibouti.

It was in 2020 that NOC Djibouti invested in the construction of a new service station in the area known as PK 12, commissioned at the beginning of 2021.
