The Ethiopian Customs Commission (ECC) said it is planning to begin a fully digital electronic service and go paperless, in a bid to give fast and up-to-date service. 

Debela Kabeta, ECC Commissioner, said the Commission is finalizing preparations to launch the e-system for the Ethiopian New Year that begins tomorrow, September 11. 

During the past two years, Mr. Debela said, the Commission has implemented various reform measures to provide better service. 

The Commissioner went on to say this will help ensure ingenuity and accountability among its employees.
