Ethiopia's Ministry of Revenues announced it has collected over $6.5 billion (233.7 billion birr) during the Ethiopian fiscal year that ended on July 7.
The Ministry stated the figure has seen a 17.9 percent rise compared to the previous year when it was $5.5 billion (198.2 billion birr).
The $6.5 billion revenue stands at 86 percent of the $7.5 billion (270.2 billion birr) target set for the year.
