The Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) said it has awarded 12 road projects to local and foreign contractors.
The road projects, which are totally 825.23 km long, cost $568 million (19.9 billion birr). Part of the fund will be allocated by the Ethiopian government, and the World Bank will provide the rest.
The road projects are expected to take 17 months to four years to complete.
