Ethiopian Delivers COVID-19 Medical Supplies to Sudan, Somalia

Ethiopian Airlines Logo flagEthiopian Airlines has transported a total of 10,000kg of medical supplies to Mogadishu, Somalia, and Khartoum, Sudan in response to COVID 19 on Monday, the carrier disclosed. Of this, 7,000kg has been delivered to Sudan, while the 3,000kg went to Somalia.

Ethiopian stated it used its Q400 aircraft for the delivery, an aircraft which the airlines recently converted from passenger flat into a cargo plane.

Out of the total medical supplies, 7,000 Kg is delivered to Khartoum while the remaining 3,000 Kg is conveyed to Mogadishu, the airlines indicated.

Ethiopian has so far distributed supplies obtained from the Jack Ma Foundation, aimed at preventing and fighting the coronavirus pandemic, to 46 African countries.
