MIDROC Ethiopia, a conglomerate comprised of eighty group and affiliate companies, has appointed Getachew Hagos as interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Arega Yirdaw (Ph.D.), MIDROC Ethiopia's long-serving CEO who held the position for the past two decades, left his position on 27 April 2020. 

A letter signed by billionaire Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Amoudi, Chairman of the MIDROC Investment Group, urged sister companies to work in close collaboration with the new interim CEO.
