Ethiopia's Hawassa Industrial Park Ups Capacity to Produce 20,000 Face Masks per Day

Ethiopia's Hawassa Industrial Park has upped its face mask production to 20,000 pieces per day, Fitsum Ketema, the Park's manager announced.

Garment and textile factories located in the Hawassa Industrial Park have shifted their efforts towards producing more face masks in the light of the coronavirus pandemic, the manager noted.

Prior to the recent increase, Hawassa Industrial Park has been producing 10,000 face masks per day.

The Park plans to yet increase its face mask production to 50,000 pieces a day, Mr. Fitsum added.
