The 5th Aviation Africa Summit and Exhibition is being held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Opened yesterday, the two-day event is a major event for the aerospace and defence industries.

Speakers during the event include leaders from African airlines, civil aviation authorities, business aviation, and support industries. The co-located exhibition features over 100 global aviation companies.

Ethiopian Airlines is hosting the event, also officially supported by Ethiopia's Ministry of Transport. Airbus and Boeing are gold sponsors of the event, while several others sponsor the event at various levels.
