Ethiopian Coffee Exhibition and Business Forum Held in Israel

ethiopian-coffee-exhibition-in-israelEthiopian coffee exhibition and forum has been held in Israel on Sunday. The event has been organized by the Ethiopian Embassy to the State of Israel, in collaboration with its partners.

The event featured exhibition, forum, and business to business sessions. Taking part in the exhibition were coffee producers, traders, and exhibitors from Ethiopia. The forum and business to business have been attended by corporations, traders, exporters, and government officials.

Reta Alemu, Ethiopia's Ambassador to Israel, on the event, said Ethiopia and Israel need to strengthen their business ties. He also expressed the readiness of the Ethiopian Embassy to work closely with the business community in Israel to promote Ethiopian coffee.

Yahel Vilan (Ambassador), Director of East and Southern Africa at Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the two nations can build on the good relations they have and use it as a fertile ground to strengthen their business ties. He also affirmed the Israeli government will provide the necessary support for the business community in Israel to be able to import Ethiopian coffee.

Ayala Wittner (Dr.), CEO at Israel-Africa Chamber of Commerce and Business Development & Finance, for her part, pointed out enhancing the overall business ties between Ethiopia and Israel will help increase the amount of Ethiopian coffee brought into the Israeli market.
