Eagle Hills, Abu Dhabi-based private real estate investment and development company, launched the first residential tower in Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa. This residential tower resides within the 36ha piece of land the company is developing at La Gare (French for "The Station") in Addis.
ONE La Gare is developed by a joint venture (JV) between Eagle Hills Ethiopia and The City Government of Addis Ababa. The residential development comprises 187 units.
Residential apartments within the 21-story building are one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units. The building is equipped with 24-hour security and resident parking at the podium level, it was learned.
La Gare, once home to the country's first main railway station, is found at the heart of Addis Ababa, a 20-minutes drive from Bole International Airport, and in close proximity to the city's thriving financial and business district.
Once completed, the La Gare mega project will be home to more than 4,000 residential units and will feature five-star hotels, retail outlets, offices, and residential buildings.
Low Ping, CEO of Eagle Hills, says the project will be of benefit to Ethiopia through commerce and job creation.
