Ethiopia's sixteen public and private offices signed an agreement to offer a one-stop-shop service to their clients. Among the 16 offices are the Ministries of Revenues, Trade and Industry, Agriculture, Science and Innovation, Transport, and Mines and Petroleum.

The National Bank of Ethiopia, Customs Commission, Ethiopian Investment Commission, and Information Network Security Agency also signed the deal.

Adanech Abebe, Ethiopia's Minister of Revenues, speaking during the ceremony, said several countries employ a similar system to increase their trade competitiveness.

The system would help offices to deliver simple, predictable, efficient and fast services to their clients.

Mrs. Adanech further noted, increasing revenue and satisfaction of clients, reducing corruption, bringing transparency and encouraging export trade, are among the benefits of the system.
