Ethiopia's Dashen Bank announced a 100 million birr (close to $3.15 million) initiative aimed at creating employment opportunities.

Dashen Bank named the initiative "Ethiopian Talent Power Series," and hopes to encourage job creation. In doing so, it will finance talented individuals and reduce unemployment by and by. It is also expected to contribute a share for Ethiopia's ongoing economic reforms. 

The bank plans to launch in six selected cities throughout Ethiopia before the Ethiopian fiscal year ends in July.
