The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) opened three new branches that give full-fledged interest-free banking services.

The three branches are “FitAwrari Amede Lema” at Merkato Bus Station, “Tewak” at Bethel Square and “Musab” at Alem Bank areas.

Bacha Gina, CEO and president of the bank, during his remark at the inauguration of the branches, said works are underway to increase the number of branches that give interest free-banking services.

Mr. Bacha mentioned more such branches will be opened before the conclusion of the Ethiopian fiscal year that started in July 2019.
