Ethiopian Airlines said it will start flying to Houston, Texas starting from mid-December, 2019. The route will be via Lome, Togo, and Ethiopian will use its Boeing 787-8 aircraft for the service.

Ethiopian further indicated that the flight will be three times a week. Ethiopian departures from Addis will be on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; while Houston departures will be on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Houston, home to NASA’s control center, is the fourth most populous city in the United States.

The largest airline in Africa, Ethiopian has passenger and cargo network operating the youngest and most modern fleet to 125 international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents.
