Al Hilal Gold Mining opened a gold detector assembly plant in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, today.

The gold detector assembly plant, which is built around Gofa Square in Addis, hopes to venture into the local and East African gold miners' market by supplying its products at reasonable prices.

The Ethiopian Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, commenting on the feast, said the local assembly of the device will help "ease the burden on gold mining activities in Ethiopia."
