The Ethiopian Ministry of Trade and Industry said Ethiopia has earned $1.2 billion in the Ethiopian fiscal year that ended on July 7, 2019.

Misganu Arega (Ambassador), State Minister of Trade and Industry, in a press conference, said the $1.2 billion has been obtained from the export of coffee, green mung, white kidney beans, sesame and soya beans.

The State Minister added the Ministry will "take measures" against illegal exporters, including license revocation.
