Dagnachew Asres, CEO of Bure Integrated Agro-Industry Park said efforts are being made to complete the park's construction early in the newly started Ethiopian fiscal year.

Bure Integrated Agro-Industry Park is being built in three phases and rests on a thousand hectares of land. Having a budget of over 4 billion birr (around $140 million), the park's construction now stands 75 percent complete.

Mr. Dagnachew, speaking to Fana BC, said: "utmost efforts are underway to finalize the remaining works during this rainy season, including the construction of infrastructures."

The construction of the park started during the last Ethiopian fiscal year, and, once completed, it is expected to create employment for more than 5,000 workers.
