The European Commission will host Ethiopia-EU business form to be held from May 14 – 15, 2019 in Brussels, Belgium.

The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the objective of the forum is mainly “to support and stimulate European private sector trade and investment.”

The event is expected to attract high-ranking Ethiopian and EU officials, including Jyrki Katainen, vice-president of the European Commission and Commissioner for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness.

The forum will focus on agro-processing, textile, apparel and leather as well as pharmaceutical, medical and ICT, it was learnt.
