The 2019 edition of The China Trade Week (CTW) will be held May 2-4, 2019 in at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa, the organizers announced. The event will be held Thursday through Saturday, 10AM to 6PM every day.

Launched in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2013, CTW’s first African event was held in Kenya. CTW, said to be inspired by the One Belt, One Road Initiative, has so far been widely successful.

The 2019 edition of the event, starting with Ethiopia in May, will be held in a total of ten countries in May, June, September, October and December. The host countries, after Ethiopia, will be Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Rwanda, Algeria, Oman, Morocco and Saudi Arabia.
