Kuwait’s Interior Ministry disclosed it has lifted the ban on hiring Ethiopian domestic workers. The ban has been in place for a couple of years.

It was following a series of meetings held between Ethiopian government representatives and Major General Sheikh Mazen Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti interior ministry's assistant undersecretary for the citizenship and passports department.

Al-Sabah disclosed Ethiopian delegation team was explained regarding the number of measure the Kuwaiti government has taken in the aim of protecting domestic workers.
