Ministry of Health made a procurement of more than 2,500 ambulance vehicles in the aim of meeting as well as health service in Ethiopia.

According to the Ministry, the purchase has taken the tally of ambulances in Ethiopia to 4,000. It would contribute greatly to the attainment of internationally accepted ration of 1 ambulance to 25,000 people, the Ministry noted.

The ministry further explained it has trained ambulance service healthcare professionals.
