Ethiopia has set in place a National Employment Policy and Strategy (NEPS) on October 2, 2017. According to Fana Broadcasting Corporation the Strategy is in line with the nation’s economic growth the country has been registering.

NEPS will enhance efficient manpower utilization in the growing marco-economy, address unemployment and deal with economic, social and political challenges.

Furthermore the strategy would fill the gaps in employment, harmonize the education and training given in the country with the demand of the economy.

In addition to the above benefits, the strategy enables to ensure benefit of all citizens, women and youth in particular, nd properly manage overseas and local employment opportunities.
