Year on year inflation of Ethiopia has rose to 9.4 percent in July. The inflation rate was 8.8 percent back in June.
According to the Central Statistics Agency, the price of cereals increased during the month of July which ultimately pushed higher the price of food and general inflation. Furthermore, the price of fruits has increased in July.
Nevertheless, oils and fats, vegetables, pulses, potatoes and other tubers showed a decline in their prices.
