Global Insurance Share Company, one of the insurers in Ethiopia, disclosed it is set to construct new headquarters in Bole area. The company leased 1,500 square meters of land near Getu Commercial Center.

As it stands the plan is to build 20 story building. However, according to the management of the company, the plan might shift to 15 story once the design and cost analysis are complete.

The company is expected to float tender for the coming 2 months to hire designer, main contractor and consultant.

Global’s current headquarter is an 8 story building found in Somali Tera built 18 years ago. Back then it cost the company close to 20 million Birr.
