Ethiopia: EAE’s 24 Million Birr Project Finalized

Ethiopian Airport Enterprise (EAE) finalized a project to automate its operations and services at an outlay of 24 million Birr. The project is said to use Software Application Product (SAP) and Enterprise Planning systems.

The project was implemented by Ernst & Young PLC after EAE concluded an agreement with the consultancy office a year ago.

The project included computerizing internal business managements, such as procurement system, inventory warehouse and payroll.

According to Fortune, the project was implemented at EAE’s headquarters and 4 international airports owned by the Enterprise; namely Bole, Dire Dawa, Bahir Dar and Meqelle.

EAE is given power to develop and administer airport facilities in Ethiopia.
