Mines, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister disclosed Ethiopia aims at more than 770 million USD from the mining sector. Such was disclosed by the State Minister for the Ministry, Tewodros Gebre Egziabher.

According to the Minister the revenue is expected to be earned from the export of gold, tantalum, gemstones as well as value added opals.

The plan was to get over 450 million USD from artisanal mining, Tewodros explained.
