Horticulture Development Agency disclosed Ethiopia secured over 230 million USD from horticulture export during the first 10 months of current fiscal year.

Out of the total revenue, 188.5 million USD was earned from flower export while vegetables and fruits export brought 41.24 million USD.

Comparing the performance to last year’s the export shows nearly a 14 percent rise.

The main export destinations for Ethiopia’s horticulture target are Netherlands, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Belgium, United Arab Emirates (UAE), France, Japan, U.S. and Djibouti.
